Epsilor works closely with major military and industrial customers to incorporate advanced energy storage systems to meet electric vehicle requirements. The cell selection is critical in large format applications. Epsilor has designed packs with all li-ion chemistries, such as li-ion phosphate, lithium cobalt and lithium polymer. EV battery packs must be able to survive extreme temperatures and constant road vibrations and have at least a 10 year lifetime.

BMS (battery management system)
Epsilor designs and manufactures BMS’s for automotive batteries. The BMS includes battery protection, balancing and communication, tailored to the battery requirements. Epsilor provides turn-key automotive battery solutions. Alternatively, the BMS can be supplied as an independent product.
Thermal management system
Automotive batteries perform best when they are operated within a specified temperature range. Thermal management systems for automotive batteries are crucial to the performance and longevity of the battery. Epsilor designs efficient air and liquid thermal management systems.
Chargers

Epsilor’s chargers are tailored for EV applications, which include all the peripheral accessories including the main input wiring, the interface cabling and any additional external safety circuitry. Epsilor produces both off-board and on-board chargers depending on customer requirements.
