- Li-Ion cell technology: we use the latest Lithium cell technology available in the market, to provide the best available energy density and lifecycle. We integrate the optimal cell form factor to best exploit a given volume, considering center of gravity and other aeronautical considerations.
- Battery pack materials: using exotic composite materials along with plastic molding, enables us to offer light and strong battery structure together with cost effective and mass production solutions.
- Electrical design: Epsilor’s designs include various voltage ranges and power rates in order to optimize battery capacity, weight and size with the specific aerial platform requirements, such as maximum power rates during take-off, total time in the air, voltage range of payloads and more.
- Smart BMS: Epsilor’s expertise in power electronics and in drone batteries, enable us to optimize battery performance and safety for each specific aerial vehicle. Our BMS communication extends mission endurance by accurate reporting of state of charge, while maintaining the battery within a safe temperature range. In addition, a smart BMS may report battery anomalies, preventing midair thermal runaway.
