Our engineers and scientists take pride in developing customized batteries used in missiles, space launchers, and various underwater vehicles and devices, in both military and civil applications worldwide.
Our high voltage batteries power AUVs in depth of hundreds of meters below sea surface, while our space launcher batteries support the launching of new satellites part of the Israeli space program.
As part of our “race to space”, we are developing a low weight high reliability satellite battery, based on commercial Li-Ion cells. The main requirement of a low orbit satellite battery is meeting a cycle life of approximately 60,000 charge and discharge cycles, simulating 10 operational years in low orbit.
To meet this extreme demand, we have developed a screening and prediction method that can assure battery reliability very close to 100%.
As a result, we can offer a top quality space battery with a cost much more similar to that of commercial batteries.
