Electric Fuel life-jacket locator lights – on almost any aircraft in the world
In 1996, Electric Fuel entered the aviation and the marine markets, through rapid development of water-activated survivor locator lights for aircraft and ships.
Overtime, our life jacket batteries and lights went through many modifications, which reduced their size and weight, and improved their resilience. Our aviation batteries and lights became the global standard of their niche, with an average market share of more than 70 percent.
Luckily for us and for our customers, these products were life-tested only once: when an AA airbus 320 landed on the Hudson River in 2009, our batteries and lights, installed on the aircraft life rafts, outperformed.
Today, you can find our water-activated lifejacket lights almost on every commercial airplane in the world.
